Hot summer nights

So it looks like the bay area went straight from winter to summer. Spring lasted all of a day maybe? Anyways this weekend was great, my band Zed played a show in Santa Clara and while we had a few technical difficulties in the form of a string and bass drum head breaking at the same time, we still rocked the house. The today we took Lala to Sesame Street Live and she surprised us by loving it and not getting bored or restless. In fact she cried when it was over.

Back to work tomorrow. Should be fun reviewing the new comps and figuring out the timeline for delivery. Also looking forward to getting my copy of HTML 5 for Web Designers, by the geniuses at A List Apart. I want to start prototyping some cool stuff for the company site.

Currently listening to David Bazan– Live at Electrical Audio, and The Black Keys– Brothers. The wife and I have been following David Bazan for a long time and he is one of “our” artists. His latest disc “Curse Your Branches” is amazing, as is the latest from The Black Keys. Check them out!
